On 17th December 2009, Hino Indonesia donated Dutro Panda Mobile to WWF, one of the world's largest and most respected independent conservation organizations. The WWF Panda Mobile is designed to promote forest and wildlife conservation through various events namely:
A. Year of the Tiger Campaign
Aim to Change the Destructive Human Tendency Wich Kills Sumatran Tigers Which Are at the Verge of Extinction. This event was held on 12th – 13th February 2010 at Taman Menteng,Jakarta and was visited by approximately 400 people.
B. Eco Product International Fair 2010
The Eco Product International Fair 2010 was held on 4th – 7th March 2010 at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta. In this fair with the theme “Green Productivity to Enhance Competitiveness”, WWF Indonesia converted WWF Panda Mobile into a cafe and introduced environmentally friendly coffee “Kuyungarang” which is a “Green and Fair Product” developed with the cooperation between WWF Indonesia and people located in the conservation area of Bukit Barisan Selatan. At this event, Panda Mobile also served as an information and discussion center for green products supported by WWF, a library to educate people concerning forest and wildlife conservation and a center to promote WWF programs. It has also attracted children with educative games concerning conservation, wildlife and forest.
C. Inspire Community for Sorting Garbage
On 12th – 14th March 2010, Panda Mobile displayed the largest rubbish bin at Ancol, Jakarta, to inspire young generations on the importance of maintaining the environment through simple and concrete steps such as by sorting garbage.
