DKI Jakarta Government Garbage Truck Vehicle Handover Dec 11, 2013

Jakarta – Located in Pacuan Kuda Pulo Mas, Jakarta Timur, today (11/12) in Jakarta Clean Action and Garbage Truck Handover DKI Jakarta Sanitation Department 2013. 92 garbage truck units were handover from Department of Sanitation to DKI Jakarta Government. The 92 unit of garbage truck was bought through e-catalogue that is held by LKPP. This e-catalogue providing goods with brands that have been registered all over Indonesia. DKI Jakarta Government chooses Hino garbage trucks with e-purchasing system which is the first time to be done. Through this system, trucks can get more in purchasing and there’s no need to conduct auction or tender because the process are faster.

The handover performed directly by DKI Jakarta Governor, Ir. Joko Widodo  to the truck driver as the operator from Sanitation Department. The goal of this handover is to rejuvenate the garbage trucks that are seen as incompatible to operate in Jakarta. DKI Jakarta Government purchase the vehicle through three HINO authorized dealers; PT. Indo Sentosa Trada, PT. Hibaindo Armada, and PT. Kreasi Auto Kencana. Garbage truck types that handover are; 33 Unit Large Tipper, 20 Unit Small Tipper, 15 Unit Large Arm Roll, dan 24 Unit Small Arm Roll that will operate throughout Jakarta.

“For trucks with large Tipper and large arm roll using Hino Ranger type FG 235 JJ that have a large capacity, strong, tough, and easy in maintenance. This 4x2 medium truck is completed with thick and strong chassis, resistance in heavy load, making it suitable for transporting garbage. Hino Dutro 130 HD is used for small Tipper trucks and small arm roll that comes with heavy duty specification fuel efficient, and aerodynamic. Using leaf springs suspension systems that have a thick frame, suitable for transport heavy loads like garbage”, said Toshiro Mizutani as President Director PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia.

“For after sales, we always give Total Support to our customer, that’s why all of Hino vehicles that have been purchased since July 2013 automatically get Free Service Program (FSP), which is a free periodic maintenance until 60.000km or 1 year. This includes service and spare part replacement, with the prevailing provisions”, explain Mizutani. After the free period ended, the maintenance can be done through Service Contract. Consumer can get Hino maintenance with reasonable price and priority when the maintenance is done in Hino workshop. Therefore, the vehicle can increase the vehicle lifetime and increase the resale value because the maintenance that has been done will automatically record in "Warranty and Service Booklet".
