7 New Hino Ranger Maximizing Customers Profit Indonesian Transportation Solution Apr 26, 2013
Jakarta - Indonesia's commodity distribution system requires truck that could maximize its load capacity which is supported by maximum volume capacity to maximize the effectiveness of the distribution of goods. Hino Ranger as the leader of medium duty commercial vehicles (Category 3) in Indonesia since 2000is introducing its latest innovation in the logistics sector by launching 7 new Hino Rangers to the Indonesian market.
Located at Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta (26/4), these units were launched under the theme MAXIMIZING RANGE. The 7 new Ranger units are a part of 12 Ranger series which will be launched by PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) until the end of 2013.
President Director of PT. Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) - Toshiro Mizutani said, "These 7 new Ranger models expand the line up existing Hino Ranger. We introduced these 7 variants to maximize thr customer’s choise in the light-medium-heavy duty cargo truck sector. Related to the theme of maximizing RANGE, Mizutani said, "Why maximizing range? The Vertical Arrow Means that Hino provides a complete line of products starting from small, medium and large powered engine (PS). In addition, it also provides Hino customers with a wide selection of common rail or conventional engine. The horizontal arrow means that Hino provides a complete line of products starting from chassis body function

Today Ranger's launching is divided into two segments based on the type of engine, namely common rail and conventional engine. The first segment is the new Hino Ranger truck series which is equipped with the common rail engine which has an outstanding performance and is fuel efficient.
Sales and Promotion Director HMSI Santiko Wardoyo explained, "There are 4 Cruising Rangers with the common rail engine, such as
(1). Hino 500 Super Cruising Ranger FG 240 JP - 4x2 light cargo truck which is suitable for inter island transportation due to its large volume;
(2). Hino 500 Super Cruising Ranger FG 240 JS - 4x2 light cargo truck which is for inter-city and inter island transportation as its possesses the longest cargo space in its class;
(3). Hino 500 Super Cruising Ranger FG 240 JS - 4x2 light cargo truck which is for inter-city and inter island transportation as its possesses the longest cargo space in its class;
(4). Hino 500 Jumbo Cruising Ranger FM 285 JW - 6x4 heavy cargo truck which is highly durable on road conditions which is suitable for heavy load transportation”.
The second segment is a Hino Ranger with the tough and economical conventional engine. "Such as:
(5). Hino 500 Super Ranger FG 215 JP - 4x2 light cargo truck which is empowered with a tough and economical 215 PS engine which is deal for milk run/ inter plan operational vehicle;
(6). Hino 500 Super Ranger FG 235 JS - 4x2 light cargo truck which is suitable for inter city and inter island transportation since it has the longest cargo hold in its class;
(7). Hino 500 Jumbo Ranger FM 260 TH - 6x4Tractor Head truck with low PS which is suitable for carrying 40 feet trailer"
