Hino, Bismania Community and PO. Tranex Holds Talkshow

"New Mainstay of Indonesian Bus Transportation" at GIIAS 2023

Tangerang – August 12, 2023 – PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) with Bismania Community and PO. Tranex held a talk show titled "The New Mainstay of Indonesian Bus Transportation" at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) which took place on 10-20 August 2023 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang. This talkshow discussed the development of bus transportation in Indonesia, as well as the role of buses in supporting people's mobility and the presence of Hino Bus RM 280. The speakers who attended this talkshow, Anton Nugroho, Head of GSO & Bus HMSI, Yoga Hendrico Putra, Owner PO Tranex and Arief Setiawan a representative from the Bismania Community. This talk show is important for sharing information and discussing bus transportation in Indonesia and is a means to increase public awareness about the importance of bus transportation as a safe, comfortable and affordable mode of transportation.

RM 280 itself is the newest Hino Bus line up for Euro4. Has the main advantage of using a wide air suspension which increases vehicle stability for passenger comfort and a space frame chassis that can be made for a translucent luggage design with a volume capacity of ±9,000 liters, so that the trunk is wider. With the presence of RM 280, bus operators no longer need to make modifications to have translucent baggage from left to right.

On the same day at GIIAS 2023, Hino also held a Handover Ceremony at the Tentrem bodywork booth. This time Hino handed over the Bus unit, which had just finished building its body, to PO KYM and PO Harapan Jaya who ordered the Hino RM 280 unit. The handover ceremony was carried out by Santiko Wardoyo as COO Director of HMSI to Hartatik Cahyana, Director of PO Harapan Jaya and the next unit to Karwoto, Owner PO KYM. Where this Hino Bus uses the AVANTE H7 PRIORITY and AVANTE H8 AB bodies made by the Tentrem car body from Malang.

In the GIIAS 2023 event itself, there are a total of 7 Hino buses displayed with various bodies and livery to greet bus fans who come to GIIAS. 2 units of buses, namely the Hino GB 150 AT which is suitable for transportation in the city and the newest Hino Bus SDBL 115 4x4 which is suitable for manhaul operations are at the Hino booth. Meanwhile, 2 units of Hino RM 280 and 1 unit of GB 150 L MT bus were at the bodywork booth from Semarang, namely Laksana. Finally, there were 2 units of Hino Bus RM 280 belonging to PO Harapan Jaya and PO KYM at the Tentrem Karoseri booth.
