Jakarta August 10, 2023 - PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) returns to participate in the 2023 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) by presenting 6 flagship vehicles, two of which have just been introduced to the public at this event. The event which was held at ICE BSD City, Tangerang from 10 to 20 August 2023, Hino carried the theme "Hino for Indonesia" as a form of Hino's commitment to strengthening the national automotive industry, because Hino is the only truck and bus brand in Indonesia that has Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certificate, which indicates Hino products meet minimum standards for locally produced components. With TKDN certificates, currently Hino has 220 variants registered with the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP) with an average TKDN value above 40%.

This program is a work competency development program aimed at job seekers, workers who have been laid off and workers who need competency improvement where this program is regulated in Presidential Regulation (PERPRES) Number 113 of 2022. Hino Indonesia Academi as the training provider will hold 2 training programs which are open to the public, namely Training for Driving Large Vehicles for Buses and Training for Driving Large Vehicles for Trucks at the Hino Driver Training Center – Hino Total Support Customer Center (HTSCC), Purwakarta. In addition, an Operational Marketing Strategy Training scheme for the Automotive Industry in Tangerang City will also be opened. The Pre-Employment card training from Hino Indonesia Academy is available on the prakerja.go.id website which can be accessed by applicants who pass the Pre-Employment selection.

Occupying Hall 3 with a booth area of 780 square meters, Hino displayed 6 vehicles, of which 2 units were just introduced at GIIAS this time. The first unit that Hino recently introduced was the Hino 500 - FM 280 JD Retarder Mining Spec, where this unit has been equipped with a retarder that helps braking. The second unit that Hino has just introduced at GIIAS is the Hino Bus 115 SDBL 4x4 which is specifically intended for mining and plantation buses. The other 4 units that Hino displayed were the Hino 500 - FM 340 TH ABS Ultimate safety, for fuel distribution. Hino 300 Series 136 HD with a Fire Department and Sky Lift body, and finally the Hino Bus GB 150 AT, Trans Jakarta for public transportation.
