Bengkulu, - November 4, 2023. PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) handed over 2 units of Hino RM 280 ABS bus to PT Putra Simalungun Atas (PO Putra Simas) during the launching ceremony of PO Putra Simas newest unit in Bengkulu. Using Legacy SR3 XHD Prime Ultimate body from Karoseri Laksana, this latest bus will be used to serve Medan - Bengkulu route which has uphill and winding terrain.

Hino RM 280 ABS bus is a specially designed bus for cross Sumatra. It has a powerful and robust 6-cylinder engine, equipped with an overheat control system (OCS) to prevent engine blow as it maintains stable engine temperature, and a comfortable suspension for long-distance travel. In addition, the bus is also equipped with complete safety features, such as ABS. 

The latest bus from PO Putra Simas, has a capacity of 34 executive seats with a 2 - 2 configuration. Passenger seats are also equipped with leg rest and reclining as well as a wide distance for passenger leg comfort. In addition, by using Hino Bus RM 280 space frame chassis, it can be made with a trunk that penetrates left and right, so that the trunk is wider and can fit large items or motorbikes.
