As a form of concern for humanity and community welfare, PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) again shows its commitment in supporting emergency health services and disaster management in Indonesia. In commemoration of Volunteer Day and Dissemination of Blood Services Policy Transformation, Hino conducted Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in the form of donations of 5 sets of First Aid tents and 10 pieces of Velbed or emergency beds to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bogor Regency. The donation ceremony was held at Multipurpose Building 1 Setda Bogor Regency.
PMI Bogor Regency itself has a strategic role in providing emergency health services, blood donation, and disaster management for the community. With a wide area coverage and geographical conditions that are prone to various disaster risks, the need for adequate facilities and infrastructure is a must. Hino's donation is expected to increase PMI's readiness in dealing with various emergency situations and provide more optimal services to the community.
Takashi Muto, President Director of HMSI said “As part of Indonesian society, Hino is not only committed in providing reliable commercial vehicles, but also actively contributes to social action. We hope this assistance can help PMI in carrying out its noble duties, especially in providing first aid for people in need,”.
This donation is part of Hino's corporate social responsibility (CSR) program that continues to have a positive impact on society. With the spirit of Hino Always With You, Hino will continue to contribute in various social initiatives to support the welfare and safety of the Indonesian people.
Chairman of PMI Bogor Regency, H. Zainal Syafruddin, M.Si, appreciated Hino's step in supporting humanitarian programs. “We are very grateful for the support given by Hino. This assistance is very meaningful for us in improving emergency health services in various regions, especially disaster-prone areas,” he concluded.
