PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) together with its official dealer PT Arista Jaya Niaga (AJN) has once again strengthened its presence in the premium transportation segment through the handover of 10 units of Hino RM 280 ABS buses to PT Trans Antar Nusabird (Cititrans). The handover ceremony took place at Resto Rumah Kayu, Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara Tangerang, Banten, marking Hino's ongoing commitment to supporting national transportation operators with reliable products that meet their daily operational needs.
The handover was symbolically conducted by Anton Nugroho, GSO Mining Bus Division Head of HMSI, and Budiman, Director of AJN, to Edward Nelson Suganda - Head of Commercial at Cititrans, as a form of ongoing collaboration between Hino and Cititrans to strengthen their Intercity and Interprovincial (AKAP) services.
As one of Indonesia's premium transportation operators, Cititrans continues to develop its medium and long-distance travel services. The addition of the Hino RM 280 ABS units is expected to support Cititrans' fleet needs in maintaining smooth operations and meeting the growing mobility needs of its customers.
“We are grateful for Cititrans' trust in Hino. This collaboration motivates us to continue providing quality products, reliable after-sales service, and technical support that is relevant to the needs of modern transportation operators,” said Anton Nugroho, GSO Mining Bus Division Head of HMSI.
The Hino RM 280 ABS comes with a 280 PS Euro4 common rail engine, ABS technology, and air suspension for maximum comfort. The space frame structure provides flexibility for left-right luggage configuration, making it ideal for intercity and tourism services. This unit is also supported by Hino's extensive after-sales service network and responsive spare parts availability, ensuring that the fleet can continue to operate optimally.
“The addition of this new unit is part of our efforts to ensure optimal service and support growing route movements. We appreciate Hino's support in providing units that meet our operational needs,” added Edward Nelson Suganda, Head of Commercial Cititrans.
