Hino Indonesia's commitment to education has once again been realized through concrete action. PT Hino Motors Manufacturing Indonesia (HMMI) has distributed its Fiscal Year 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to Udayana University, Bali, as part of its efforts to strengthen the connection between industry and academia. Hino donated a transmission simulator unit along with key components of a 5C engine to support student practical activities, particularly in the Faculty of Engineering. This assistance was provided to commemorate Hino's 43 years of presence in Indonesia, as well as to demonstrate the company's ongoing contribution to producing human resources who are ready to enter the industrial world.

The handover ceremony was conducted directly by HMMI President Director Hiroshi Terawaki to the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University, Prof. Ir. Linawati, M.Eng.Sc., Ph.D., IPU. The components handed over included cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, connecting rods, camshafts, and crankshafts.

Hiroshi Terawaki, President Director of HMMI, said, “Through this support for vocational education, we hope to build sustainable synergy between industry and higher education, as a manifestation of Hino's commitment to producing outstanding graduates who are ready to support national development in Indonesia.”

The donated components are key parts of Hino vehicles manufactured at Hino's manufacturing facility in Purwakarta Regency, West Java. All components have a Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of over 40% and are designed to meet the EURO 4 diesel vehicle emission threshold standards, which have been in effect in Indonesia since April 2022.
