PT Hino Motors Manufacturing Indonesia (HMMI) Having previously distributed CSR in the form of transmission simulators and engine components to Udayana University, Bali, HMMI is continuing its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program for Fiscal Year 2025 to the Bali Land Transportation Polytechnic (Poltrada Bali). In this CSR program, Hino donated one Hino 300 vehicle along with key 5C engine components, including the cylinder block, cylinder head, connecting rod, camshaft, and crankshaft. This assistance is expected to be used as a practical learning medium to support the improvement of student competencies in the field of land transportation.
The handover was conducted directly by HMMI President Director Hiroshi Terawaki to Poltrada Bali Director Firga Ariani, S.E., M.M.Tr. The event was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Transportation's Human Resources Development Agency, represented by Head of the Land Transportation Human Resources Development Center Bambang Siswoyo, S.T., M.T.
Hiroshi Terawaki, President Director of HMMI, said, “This CSR program is part of Hino's commitment to supporting the creation of vocational education that is relevant to industry needs. Adequate practical facilities will help students understand vehicle technology in a more practical way. For this reason, we hope that the Bali Land Transportation Polytechnic can continue to produce graduates who are ready to work, competent, and reliable in supporting national development.”
On the same occasion, Bambang Siswoyo emphasized that support from the industrial world is an important element in the development of vocational education. He believes that the use of vehicles and practical components from industry can enrich the increasingly dynamic learning process.
“We will continue to promote the strengthening of industry-based vocational education in a sustainable manner. The learning pattern must be adaptive to technological developments, digitalization, and the transformation of the transportation and logistics sector, including vehicle technology, energy efficiency, and transportation safety aspects,” concluded Bambang Siswoyo, Head of the Land Transportation Human Resources Development Center.
