PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) is participating in the Koperasi Desa (Kopdes) Merah Putih program, which aims to strengthen the community’s economy by improving logistics distribution to villages across Indonesia.

As one of the commercial vehicle manufacturers in Indonesia, Hino welcomes this government initiative and is proud to contribute to supporting the smooth distribution of essential goods and economic activities in various regions.

“Hino is very proud to be trusted to contribute to this excellent government program. Through the Koperasi Merah Putih program, the government aims to improve community welfare by strengthening the people’s economy, particularly by enhancing the distribution of basic necessities to villages throughout the archipelago, from Sabang to Merauke,” said Susilo Darmawan, Sales & After Sales Director of HMSI.

Hino’s involvement in this program is part of the company’s commitment to continuously support national economic development, particularly in the distribution and logistics sector, which serves as the backbone of community economic activities.

“Considering our supply chain capabilities, both from local components and CKD, Hino is currently able to supply up to 10,000 trucks for 10,000 Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP). Each village cooperative will receive one Hino truck to support its distribution operations. This number represents the optimal contribution we can currently provide to support the Koperasi Merah Putih program,” Susilo added.

In addition to providing vehicles, Hino will also support the program through strong after-sales services to ensure that vehicle operations can run optimally.

Hino hopes to contribute to the success of the Koperasi Merah Putih program while helping the government strengthen the national logistics distribution system and improve the welfare of the Indonesian people.
