Hino Presents Hino 300 Series Fire Truck at GIICOMVEC, Complete with Fire Handling Education

PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) presented a special vehicle solution through the display of a fire truck unit based on the Hino 300 Series 136 HDX at GIICOMVEC 2026, held at JIEXPO Kemayoran. The presence of this unit reinforces Hino’s commitment to providing commercial vehicles that not only support industrial sectors but also public services directly related to community safety.

The Hino 300 Series 136 HDX Fire Truck is powered by the Euro 4-compliant N04C-WY engine, delivering a maximum output of 136 PS at 2,500 rpm and torque of up to 40 kgm within the range of 1,400–2,500 rpm. This performance is supported by a responsive RE61 transmission and a robust chassis, enabling the vehicle to carry firefighting equipment while maintaining stability when heading to emergency locations. With a wheelbase of 3,380 mm and a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of up to 8,600 kg, the unit offers a balance between payload capacity, maneuverability, and operational reliability.

In addition, the unit showcased at GIICOMVEC is equipped with a firefighting body from Karoseri KAJAMA, type CFT 3000 W, featuring a 3,000-liter water tank capacity. This configuration is designed to provide rapid response in firefighting operations, particularly in densely populated areas, industrial zones, and commercial facilities.

The CFT 3000 W body design includes well-organized equipment compartments to facilitate quick access for firefighting crews during emergency situations. Its compact vehicle dimensions also allow for greater mobility in narrow roads, dense residential areas, and industrial sites with limited access.

Fire Safety Education for Visitors
On the same occasion at GIICOMVEC 2026, Hino also collaborated with the Jakarta Provincial Fire and Rescue Department to provide fire safety education to visitors. This activity included a talk show at the Hino booth featuring Agus Wijaya, Head of Fire Operations Section, who discussed fire truck readiness, initial fire response procedures, and the importance of safety in emergency situations.

In addition, visitors were able to witness a live firefighting demonstration in the outdoor area of GIICOMVEC. During this session, the Jakarta Fire and Rescue team conducted a simulation of fire handling using proper equipment, while also demonstrating how Hino-based fire trucks can support fast and effective operations in the field.

“Through the presence of the Hino 300 Series 136 HDX Fire Truck and the educational program in collaboration with the Jakarta Provincial Fire and Rescue Department, Hino aims to demonstrate its role not only as a commercial vehicle provider but also as a partner contributing to improving public safety and preparedness against fire risks,” concluded Anton Nugroho, GMB Division Head of HMSI.
