High enthusiasm was shown by bus enthusiast communities as the booth of PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) at GIICOMVEC 2026 was crowded with members of the Bismania Community on Saturday (April 11). Their presence at the “Bismania Community Talkshow” served as strong evidence that Hino buses remain among the most beloved vehicles among bus enthusiasts in Indonesia.
The lively event featured a series of activities, starting from remarks by Hino management to a product knowledge session that explored Hino’s bus lineup in more depth. On this occasion, members of the Bismania Community also received a direct explanation of the latest unit, the Hino Bus 136 MDBL 4x4, launched at GIICOMVEC 2026, including its advantages for operations in extreme terrains such as mining and plantation sectors.
The community’s strong interest was evident from the high level of participation during the discussion session, where members shared their experiences with Hino buses across various routes, followed by a group photo session. In addition, the screening of a testimonial video from the first buyer of the Hino Bus 136 MDBL also captured attention, showcasing real customer trust in Hino’s latest product.
“The enthusiasm of our friends from the Bismania Community today gives us positive energy. Their presence shows that Hino buses are not only trusted by business players but also hold a special place in the hearts of bus enthusiasts in Indonesia. This motivates Hino to continue delivering reliable products while building closer relationships with the community,” said Anton Nugroho, GSO Mining Bus – Division Head of HMSI.
The visit from the Bismania Community also reflects Hino’s strong position in the national bus segment. Historically, Hino buses have been widely recognized by enthusiasts for their durability, ease of maintenance, and extensive after-sales service network across Indonesia. These factors have led many bus operators to use Hino units, ultimately creating an emotional connection between Hino buses and their fans.
“For us, Hino has long been known as a bus chassis that is strong, stable, and reliable across various routes in Indonesia. Many Bismania members follow the development of Hino buses because of their performance in the field. Our presence at the Hino booth at GIICOMVEC is a form of appreciation and support for the latest innovations presented by Hino,” said Guntur Buana Mukti, Chairman of the Bismania Community.
This is further proven by Hino’s position as a market leader in Indonesia’s bus market. Currently, Hino Bus holds a 53% market share in Indonesia. This achievement reflects a high level of trust from transportation business players in Hino’s bus lineup. Supported by an extensive service network nationwide, Hino remains committed to maintaining customers’ vehicle performance through optimal after-sales support, including spare parts availability, regular maintenance services, and professional technical support to ensure maximum operation and minimize downtime.
